Privacy Policy
6 October 2026
This site doesn’t track you: no cookies, no analytics, no advertising.
We use what you send us only to deal with you, and we never sell it.
1. Who we are
We’re Dingsen Huang (also known as Dawson Huang), trading as Warm Virtual, ABN 94 353 308 763, of New South Wales, Australia (“we” or “us”). This policy covers warmvirtual.com and what you give us when you contact us or buy a license. Questions about it go to contact@warmvirtual.com.
2. Visiting the site
We set no cookies, run no analytics or advertising, and load nothing from anyone’s servers but our host’s. Our host, Cloudflare, receives what any website’s host does to deliver pages and keep the site secure, such as your IP address and browser details, may set a short-lived security cookie if it challenges suspicious traffic, and handles these under its own privacy policy. We may look at the overall traffic figures Cloudflare shows us, such as page views by country; they don’t identify you.
3. Emailing us and requesting a license
The license form sends nothing by itself: it opens your email app with your request written out, and you decide whether to send it. When you email us, we receive what you write, usually your name, work email, company, annual revenue band, how you’ll use Warm64 and what you’re building. We use it to reply, to prepare a quote and the license terms, and to give you support.
4. Buying a license
Your order and invoices record your business’s name and address, your contact’s name and email, the revenue figure, band and license type you give us, and payment details such as the amount, date and paying bank. We use them to provide your license, to invoice you, to check your license as section 9 of the license terms allows, and to keep the records the law requires.
5. Who else handles it
We don’t sell your information, use it for advertising, or give it to anyone to market to you. Only these handle it, for the purposes above:
- our website host, Cloudflare, and our email provider, which stores our mail;
- the banks and payment providers that process your payment;
- our accountant and advisers, for tax and legal work;
- authorities, where the law requires it; and
- a buyer of the Warm64 business, which takes on this policy.
Some of them keep information outside Australia, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to keep your information safe.
6. How long we keep it
Emails that don’t lead to a license, up to two years. Records of a license and its payments, and our correspondence about it, while the license runs and then for seven years, which covers the time Australian tax law requires and the time a claim about the license could be made. Then we delete them.
7. Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, except records the law makes us keep. Email contact@warmvirtual.com and we’ll reply within 30 days. We won’t add you to a mailing list unless you ask.
If you’re unhappy with how we handled your information, tell us first. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or, in the EU or UK, to your data protection authority.
If you’re in the EU or UK: we use your details to take the steps you ask for before a license and to provide it, to meet our legal obligations, such as keeping tax records, and for our legitimate interest in answering enquiries. You can object to that last use, ask us to limit what we do with your details while a request is sorted out, and ask for what you gave us in a file you can take elsewhere. We’re in Australia, so what you send us comes here, and what our providers hold for us may be kept elsewhere, including in the United States; we need it there to deal with you, and we protect it as this policy says. We make no automated decisions about you.
8. Changes
We’ll post any change here with a new date. If a change affects how we use information you’ve already given us, we’ll email you before it applies to you.
